Donald “Duck” Costner serves as Executive Vice-President of
Brothers Air and Heat, Inc.
Duck became interested in the heating and air conditioning business after his
brother, Roger attended a HVAC class in high school. Duck followed in Roger’s
footsteps, attending York Technical College, where he earned a two-year degree
in Heating and Air repair. After working in the industry for several years,
Roger & Duck started Costner Brothers Heating and Air in 1985. Duck handles the
installation end of the business, while Roger concentrates on the business and
service end.
Donald holds the following licenses and board positions:
• Licensed North & South Carolina Air Condition and Heating
• Licensed North & South Carolina Electrical Contractor
• Licensed South Carolina Plumbing Contractor
• Licensed South Carolina Waste Water Treatment Operator
• Past board member Charlotte Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors Association
• Past board member NC Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors Association
Roger Costner serves as Corporate President and CEO of Brothers Air and Heat,
Inc.
After studying heating and air at the local high school technology center, Roger
attended York Technical College, where he earned a degree in heating and air
repair. He, along with his brother, Duck started their own heating and air
conditioning company, Costner Brothers, in 1985. “We work well together and
trust each other’s opinions,” Roger says. “Now we have merged the old and the
new into one company, Brothers Air & Heat, and we are stronger today than we’ve
ever been.”
Roger is an industry leader and holds the following positions:
• Current President (2005-2006) Mechanical Contractors of NC, the largest
association in the state that represents the HVAC trades.
• Past President Charlotte Heating & Cooling Contractors Association
• Past state chapter representative for SC Heat & Air Association
• Licensed North & South Carolina Air Condition and Heating
• Licensed Residential Home Builder
• Past board member of C-2000, National Plumbing & HVAC Assoc.
• Instructor of continuing education for the state board of license for North
Carolina
