"Dear Friends, You not only have the best
products, you have the best employees. That's why Brothers Air & Heat was voted
the Best Heating and Air Conditioning Company for 2006. William, Fred,
Eddie and Phil were the team that installed an EnergyMiser heat pump for me on
October 16, 2006. It was clear to see that they were friends and enjoyed working
together. A joyful spirit is contagious and it seemed like no time before they
had completed the job. They cleaned up all the old equipment and put everything
back in its place. I couldn't even tell they had been here except for the
sparkling new unit and its new base. I was really impressed!
Bobby Nasekos, another member of your team, deserves special recognition, too.
Bobby helped me decide to buy the EnergyMiser by telling me about the options
and the pros and cons of any decision. He is not only courteous and professional
- he is someone I know I can trust.
Col. Bill and I first became your customers in 1997.
Now that my husband has
passed away, I am depending on you - an
incredible team - an outstanding "Band of Brothers."

"My name is Dawn (last name removed for privacy) and I am writing to express my
gratitude to one of your employees. On July 20, 2006, at about 11:30 in the
morning, I began to smell something hot in my house.
After checking around, I located the smell in the heat pump closet in my hallway. I
called your company to have someone come check it. Within two hours Thomas
(Hess) called to say he was on the way. When he arrived, he thoroughly checked
all the
connections and didn’t find anything burnt. He said it appeared that it must be
the
motor burning out. He quoted me the price for a new motor and brought a new
motor in to install it. When he took the unit out and sat it on the floor, he
paused and knelt down to
sniff the motor. He said something wasn't right because now he wasn’t getting an odor
from the motor. He checked again in the closet and asked if I had attic access.
My attic access is in my laundry room off the carport. The heat pump unit is
about halfway down the house and when he got to that point (in the attic,) he saw smoke at the far end
of the house. An attic fan that had been attached to the rafters had fallen down into the insulation and
the blades had gotten bound up in the insulation and the motor continued to run. It
had started burning the insulation. Thomas pulled the wires loose to stop the
motor and came down and told me to call the fire department and went back up in the attic
with a fire extinguisher to try to put it out. That effort kept it in check
until the fire department got there. It was just starting to pour smoke out the
end of the attic
when the fire department arrived. Thomas stayed until the fire department had everything was under control.
Thomas went beyond the call of duty. I truly
believe that he saved my house from severe damage by his thoroughness and
his attempt to control the burning with his fire extinguisher. I wanted to thank
him and make you aware of what a a dedicated
employee you have. I have told all the people I work with how wonderful your
company was and will continue to recommend your service at every
opportunity."

"The purpose of this email is to let you know our
experience this afternoon with your service and technician, Matt Rutland. The service, as usual was prompt, clean, professional, fairly
priced and thorough. We have come to expect that from (your previous company)
Costner (Brothers) at our former home in Charlotte 20 years ago. But what
prompts this email is to tell you what a "good Guy" Matt Rutland is. He not only addressed the immediate problem,
he
also addressed several deficiencies which reduced the effectiveness, efficiency and life expectancy of
our HVAC systems. Matt explained to us what needed to be done, what he
recommended, why, how much each "thing" would cost and the cost/benefit
relationship. Clearly you set your guys up for success with trucks full of
parts, technology and technicians who know what to do with it. Thanks!"
Mel F., Charlotte, NC
"This morning your serviceman, Jeff Spinella arrived at
my home on time and did a season tune-up on my AC. He also opened a vent in the
ceiling that I didn’t know was closed. I left my mother with him to handle the
visit, (and) she said he
made her feel very comfortable as he checked our AC. My concern was he would try
to sell us something I didn't want, or push a new unit on me. This didn't
happen. We feel he did a good job and was very respectful and courteous. I would
hope this is brought to the attention of him and whomever it needs to reach. I
am now planning to have you and Jeff as my AC servicers."
Michael S., Mooresville, NC
"Our first-ever
contact with your company was a service call to our residence on Aug. 3, 2006. (Cust
# & Service # removed) I am writing just to mention how much we appreciated the
thorough professionalism of your technician, Wayne (Coss). He was knowledgeable,
skilled, pleasant, and very efficient. He explained what services were needed
and what were not, and accomplished the work without wasting a minute. If service people in all fields matched
his standards, there would be a population of very satisfied consumers. From the
impression we experienced, Wayne is a splendid representative of Brothers. We'll
have your in mind for future services. Thanks to Wayne and to you."
Richard D., Rock Hill, SC
"Thank you for all the time
you spent with me 'under' the house, etc. I appreciate your time and knowledge &
you'll get the business when the time comes!"
Terrence S., Charlotte, NC
"I just wanted to say how impressed I am
with Matt (Rutland). The first time he came out was for a second opinion on an
indoor coil. He was so nice and professional, that I decided to let him do it.
He did the work today and I cannot tell you how great he handled the whole
thing. He was so professional and thorough. He is certainly an asset to your
company."
June C., Charlotte, NC
"My name is Kim J.
(last name removed for privacy). Today your service tech came to my rental
property to work on our AC after it was damaged by lightening over the weekend.
Shannon (Smith) was our technician and he was fabulous. He was very
knowledgeable and explained what was wrong with our unit in a way that made
sense to me. I also never felt pressured or like he was doing the heavy sell. We
have used Costner (Brothers) on both of our houses and have been 100% satisfied
every time. Of course I always use my Money Mailer coupon. Ha! I just wanted to
thank you for all the excellent service we have received."
Kim J., Charlotte, NC
"After my wonderful experience with your company's personnel during the past
three days, I am delighted to be writing to let you know how happy I am with my
new furnace.
I am also exceedingly grateful to Thomas Hess for his excellent presentation and
for his patience with my son, Richard, and me and willingness to take time to
answer so thoroughly our many questions. Thomas arrived shortly after Bucky and
Chris, installers, and Phil, the electrician, pulled up in their truck at about
9:30 a.m. and spent quite a while working with them. It pleased me greatly when
Bucky and Chris covered the floors with heavy plastic. Later Fred joined them,
and all of them treated me with respect and remained so throughout their long
day of work, moving their trucks when I needed to go out on errands in my car,
and being good enough to carry, at my request, the heavy concrete pad to another
place on the property! At the end of the day (about 7:30), after carefully
explaining some papers he wanted me to sign, Chris asked me to take a look at
the finished work. Imagine how pleased I was with the clean-up job the men had
preformed, to listen to the pleasant sound of my handsome new furnace, and to
see the shiny new wrapping around the ducts. What a great day to remember!"
